A Unique Opportunity to Lead a Major National Music Institution

The Ministry of Youth, Culture and Communication - Department of Culture announces the opening of applications for the position of Director of the National Higher Institute of Music and Choreographic Art. This high-responsibility position requires strategic vision and solid experience in artistic, academic, and administrative fields.

About the Institute

The National Higher Institute of Music and Choreographic Art is a public higher education institution not affiliated with universities, established by Decree No. 2.25.438 of 7 Muharram 1447 (July 3, 2025). Its mission is to train senior executives in music and choreographic art, and to contribute to cultural and artistic influence at national and international levels.

Eligibility Requirements

Candidates must meet the following conditions:

  • Hold Moroccan nationality.
  • Be specialized in fields related to the Institute (music, choreographic art, or equivalent).
  • Be senior civil servants holding a higher diploma classified at scale 11 or equivalent, or belong to the body of professor-researchers in higher education or higher education training institutions.
  • Have administrative seniority and professional experience of at least 5 years (for master's degree holders) or 10 years (for bachelor's degree holders).
  • Possess the necessary scientific and professional skills, as well as knowledge of financial and administrative management methods.
  • Present a development project for the Institute in accordance with Article 33 of Law No. 01.00 on the organization of higher education.

Application File Components

The application file consists of the following documents:

  • An application letter addressed to the Minister of Youth, Culture and Communication.
  • A motivation letter explaining the reasons for applying.
  • The unified standard form (annexed to the decision of the Minister Delegate No. 2 of 25 Dhu al-Qi'dah 1433).
  • Copies of university degrees and documents proving the required conditions.
  • A development project for the Institute including proposals for achievement, adaptation, a strategy for training, cooperation, scientific research, and measures to ensure influence and openness.
  • One digital copy (CD or USB) of all the mentioned documents.

How to Apply

The application file can be downloaded from the Ministry's website (www.mjcc.gov.ma) or from the public employment portal (www.emploi-public.ma).

The file must be submitted in 7 copies against receipt to the Ministry of Youth, Culture and Communication - Department of Culture, at the office of the Minister's Secretary, 1 Rue Ghandi - Rabat, from May 5, 2026 until May 25, 2026 before 4:30 PM.

Selection Committee and Interviews

A committee will be set up to study the applications, select eligible files, and conduct selection interviews, in accordance with Article 4 of Decree No. 2.12.412.
