Tanaqoub Commune in Chefchaouen Province announces the opening of applications for the position of Director of Services. This opportunity is available to permanent civil servants and contract agents working within the commune. Essential Information About the Position

The Director of Services position represents a significant leadership role within the local administration structure, involving responsibility for coordinating and executing administrative and organizational tasks of the commune. According to the decision dated December 5, 2025, this position requires specific qualifications and experiences to ensure efficient administrative operations.

Application Requirements

Candidates must meet the following conditions:

  • Be permanent civil servants or contract agents working at Tanaqoub Commune
  • Be classified at least in the engineer framework or in one of the grades with comparable ranking
  • Hold a certificate or diploma allowing access to third-class administrator grade
  • Have at least two years of service as permanent staff, or three years for contract agents
  • Have previously performed head of department functions, with possible exemption if service requirements dictate

Special Exceptions

Exceptionally, permanent civil servants and contract agents classified in third-class administrator grade, or in one of the grades with comparable ranking, may apply provided they have at least fifteen years of actual service within the commune, including at least four years in the mentioned grade.

Position Duties and Responsibilities

The Director of Services performs duties assigned under Organic Law No. 113.14 relating to communes, in accordance with the decision of the communal council president concerning the organization of municipal administration and determination of its competencies. These duties include administrative coordination, supervision of service operations, implementation of local policies, and contribution to the development of services offered to citizens.

  • Application accompanied by immediate supervisor's approval and opinion on candidate's competence
  • Curriculum vitae with recent photograph including qualifications and professional background
  • Work program and proposed methodology for developing the administrative unit
  • Documents proving compliance with required conditions (appointment decisions, certified copies of diplomas)

Submission Procedures

The application file can be downloaded from the public employment portal (www.emploi-public.ma) or collected from the commune administration. Files must be deposited at the registry office of the commune headquarters until March 30, 2026 at 4:30 PM.

Selection Process

A commission will be appointed by decision of the communal council president to conduct the selection of files meeting application requirements and carry out the selective interview in accordance with Articles 6 and 9 of Decree No. 2.11.681.
