Essential Position Information
The National Agency for Land Conservation, Cadastre and Cartography carries vital responsibilities in land documentation and cartographic services throughout Morocco. Established under Law 58.00 of 2002, the agency operates under the direction of Mr. Karim Tajmouati, Director General. This position aims to strengthen the agency's cybersecurity and IT quality systems, thereby contributing to the protection of sensitive data and information assets.
Application Requirements
Candidates must meet the following conditions:
- Hold a diploma granting access to scale 20, with at least 5 years of professional experience
- Or be classified at least at scale 20 with a diploma granting access to scale 17
- Have held at least one Service Head position previously
- Not have incurred any disciplinary sanctions related to professional activities
Key Responsibilities and Duties
The Cybersecurity and IT Quality Department Head will undertake the following responsibilities:
- Define and implement information security policies according to applicable standards
- Protect the agency's IT systems against internal and external threats
- Implement IT protection tools and techniques within the framework of cybercrime prevention
- Oversee the development and implementation of Information Systems Security Policy and backup policies
- Ensure confidentiality, integrity and availability of data and digital services
- Identify, analyze and address cyber risks
- Establish technical and organizational security measures
- Monitor, detect and manage security incidents
- Secure access and protect sensitive data
- Guarantee reliability, quality and performance of the agency's IT systems
Required Skills and Experience
The ideal candidate should possess the following competencies:
- Knowledge of the agency's various units and their activities
- Understanding of public procurement regulations
- Familiarity with IT security and cybersecurity standards and procedures
- Mastery of IT security tools and technologies
- Deep understanding of IT system architecture and network functionalities
- Proficiency in data administration and management techniques
- Strong analytical and synthesis capabilities
- Excellent group facilitation, communication and organizational skills
