Key Responsibilities and Duties

The director will be responsible for:

  • Developing institutional public communication activities
  • Implementing communication campaigns about Morocco for international audiences

  • Contributing to crisis communication planning and implementation
  • Overseeing organization of the National Grand Prize for Journalism
  • Managing distribution of foreign publications
  • Accompanying international media in covering national events
  • Accrediting and monitoring foreign press correspondents in Morocco
  • Conducting media monitoring and analysis
  • Ensuring verification of false information in public communication

Application Process Details

Candidates must download the standard form from the communication department website (www.mjec.gov.ma) or the public employment portal. The application package must include:

  • Application letter addressed to the Minister
  • Motivation letter explaining candidacy reasons
  • Standard unified form
  • Copies of academic certificates and supporting documents
  • Proposed project including personal vision and work program

Five copies of the application must be submitted to the ministry, along with a digital version on electronic media. The application deadline is April 17, 2026.
