Leadership Opportunities at Casablanca Municipality

The Municipality of Casablanca has announced the opening of applications for three leadership positions within the Mers Sultan prefecture. Available Position Details

Key Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must meet the following conditions:

  • Be classified at least at the second-class administrator grade or within scale 11 framework, or in an equivalent grade.
  • Hold a bachelor's degree or diploma allowing access to third-class administrator grade.
  • Minimum of five years of actual service for permanent staff, or three years for municipal contract agents.
  • Knowledge of legislative and regulatory texts governing municipalities and prefectures.

Important Exceptions

Exceptionally, and when service requirements demand, third-class administrator grade permanent staff and contract agents may apply if they have at least 15 years of actual service, including 4 years minimum in the mentioned grade, without requiring a bachelor's degree.

Application Documentation

Candidates must submit the following documents:

  • Application letter with recent photograph, accompanied by approval from the municipal council president or prefecture president.
  • Curriculum vitae according to the standardized form defined by the delegated minister for public service.
  • Action plan and proposals for improving the targeted department's performance.
  • Copy of national identity card.
  • Certificates and documents proving eligibility (diplomas, recruitment, appointment, and promotion decisions).

Submission Process and Deadlines

Application files must be submitted in sealed envelopes against receipt at the administrative registry office of Mers Sultan prefecture during official working hours. The submission deadline is May 15, 2026 at 4:30 PM. Selection results will be announced later.

Selection Methodology

A commission appointed by the President of Casablanca Municipal Council will handle the selection of eligible applications and conduct interviews focusing on knowledge of legislative texts and modern public service management techniques.
