Overview
The Moroccan National Tourist Office (ONMT) has opened a call for applications for the position of Delegate in Düsseldorf, Germany. This key role involves leading the Düsseldorf delegation and the Swiss branch, with the primary mission of increasing tourist flows to Morocco from the German-speaking markets (Germany, Austria, Switzerland). The position offers a unique opportunity to represent Morocco's tourism sector abroad.
Eligibility Criteria
The call is open to both internal and external candidates meeting the following conditions:
Internal Candidates
- Statutory employees and contractual agents who have served as directors and wish to change functions.
- Heads of department or equivalent for more than three years.
- ONMT delegates abroad for more than three years.
- Employees holding a diploma for Inspector grade (scale 10) or equivalent, classified at least at scale 11, with 5 years as head of service or 6 years abroad.
External Candidates
- Moroccan nationality.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Communication, Marketing, Management, or Tourism.
- Minimum of 12 years of professional experience.
- At least 5 years in a managerial role as head of department or equivalent.
Job Responsibilities
- Maximize tourist flows to Morocco through promotion and distribution in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
- Represent ONMT at trade fairs, exhibitions, and festivals.
- Coordinate activities across the German-speaking region.
- Develop and strengthen partnerships with tour operators, online travel agencies, airlines, and other distribution channels.
