Key Missions and Responsibilities

The BIM Technician will be responsible for a range of crucial tasks within construction projects:

• Participate in applying BIM processes within construction projects.
• Develop and update parametric 3D models (digital mock-ups) in collaboration with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure the integration and consistency of technical, architectural, and structural data in digital mock-ups.
• Conduct simulations, realistic renderings, and 3D visualizations to facilitate project understanding and optimization.
• Apply defined BIM workflows for different project phases (design, execution, maintenance).
• Provide technical support to project teams in BIM modeling and graphic processing.
• Participate in updating digital mock-ups according to the evolution of studies and works.
• Contribute to the management and archiving of project digital documentation (plans, mock-ups, reports).
• Ensure compliance with production deadlines for digital mock-ups and BIM deliverables.

Job Requirements

Required Education:

• Diploma as a Specialized Technician in Civil Engineering / Site Supervisor for Major Works.
• A certified training in BIM is required.

Desired Experience:

• Initial experience in BIM or digital modeling would be an asset.
• Practice with BIM software and graphic processing within construction projects is desirable.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in BIM software: Revit, Navisworks, Tekla Structures.
• Advanced skills in 3D modeling, visualization, and simulation, mastery of tools like Autodesk, Lumion, 3DS Max.
• Knowledge of parametric modeling principles and BIM standards (such as ISO 19650).
• Good understanding of civil engineering construction projects (reading plans, digital mock-ups, technical data).
• Knowledge of norms and best practices related to BIM data production and management.
