The Department of Handicrafts and Social and Solidarity Economy announces the opening of applications to fill 5 positions of Regional Director of Handicrafts in the following regional directorates: Ouarzazate, Errachidia, Khouribga, Tiznit and Taroudant.
Candidates may be permanent civil servants or contractual staff, whether from within the administration or outside, who meet the following conditions: be classified at least at the grade of Inspector 2nd grade or State Engineer or an equivalent grade. They must also hold a degree or diploma allowing access to the grade of Inspector 3rd grade or equivalent. In addition, they must have at least two years of actual service as a permanent employee or three years for contractual staff.
Permanent civil servants and contractual staff who, on the date of the announcement, are serving as Head of Service or in equivalent positions may also apply. Finally, permanent civil servants and contractual staff classified in the grade of Inspector 3rd grade or equivalent, with at least fifteen years of actual service, including at least four years in the said grade, are eligible.
Applications must be submitted through the administrative hierarchy to the Directorate of Resources and Information Systems - Human Resources Division - located at the headquarters of the central administration - Secretariat of State for Handicrafts and Social and Solidarity Economy - Avenue Maa El Ainene, P.O. Box 6435, Rabat-Instituts, by June 3, 2026 at 4:30 PM, which is the last deadline for accepting applications.
After studying the applications, a list of eligible candidates will be announced. They will be required to undergo a selection interview before a designated committee. The date and place of the interview will be announced later via: the public service portal (www.emploi-public.ma), the ministry's website (www.mtaess.gov.ma), and the headquarters of the central and decentralized administration.
After the selection interviews, the committee will prepare a final report containing the names of the selected candidates ranked by merit. The results will be announced after approval by the Secretary of State to the Minister of Tourism, Handicrafts and Social and Solidarity Economy, in charge of Handicrafts and Social and Solidarity Economy, through publication on the portal, the website, the central administration headquarters, and the place where the selection took place.
Any interested candidate may contest the final report of the selection committee through the means provided for in the legislative and regulatory texts in force. The selected officials will be appointed by decision of the Secretary of State, and this appointment is revocable.
