About the Call for Applications

The Prefecture of M'diq-Fnideq, under the Ministry of Interior, announces a call for applications for the position of Head of the Urban Planning Service within the Division of Urban Planning and Environment at the General Secretariat. This recruitment aims to strengthen the territorial administration and improve services in urban planning and development.

Position Details

The role involves optimizing urban planning management, ensuring compliance with current regulations, monitoring major urban development projects, coordinating the elimination of substandard housing with the Ministry of Housing, and preserving architectural and urban heritage in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture. The incumbent will also participate in city planning meetings, prepare reports, and take part in technical committee work.

Eligibility Criteria

Applications are open to civil servants and contract agents of the Ministry of Interior who meet the following conditions:

• Ranked at least as a Manager 2nd grade or State Engineer or equivalent, holding a degree allowing access to Manager 3rd grade, with at least 2 years of actual service for civil servants and 3 years for contract agents.
• Currently serving as a Head of Service.
• Ranked as Manager 3rd grade or equivalent, with seniority of at least 15 years of actual service, including 4 years in the current grade.

Application File Components

The application file must include:

• A cover letter with a recent photograph.
• An application form accompanied by the approval of the home administration and the opinion of the direct supervisor.
• A work program and methodology proposed for managing and developing the administrative unit.
• The appointment decision in the current framework.
• The appointment decision to a responsibility position (if any).

Submission and Deadline

Applications must be submitted through the administrative hierarchy to the Governor of M'diq-Fnideq Prefecture. The deadline for submission is June 12, 2026. Applications that do not respect the hierarchical channel or lack required documents will not be accepted.

Selection Committee and Interview
