Head of Environment and Territorial Development Division Position

The Souss Massa Regional Council, chaired by the President, announces a call for applications for the position of Head of the Environment and Territorial Development Division. This recruitment is conducted in accordance with legal provisions governing appointments to senior positions.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Be a permanent civil servant or contract agent of the region.
• Hold at least the grade of Attaché 2nd grade or State Engineer or equivalent.
• Possess a degree allowing access to the grade of Attaché 3rd grade or equivalent.
• Have at least 4 years of service for permanent staff and 5 years for contract agents.
• Have previously served as Head of Service.
• Current Heads of Division are also eligible.

Required Skills

In addition to legal qualifications, candidates must demonstrate:

• Previous experience in coordination and supervision.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Responsible professional decision-making.
• Conflict analysis and resolution skills.
• Sense of responsibility and initiative.

• A work plan and methodology for improving the administrative unit.
• Approval from the President of the Council.

Applications must be submitted in 3 copies to the registry of the Regional Council (Administrative District, Avenue Général Kettani, Agadir) by Friday, June 12, 2026, at 4:30 PM. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for interviews.
