Job Opportunity: Accounting Manager at Casa Transport

Casa Transport, the developer of dedicated transport solutions in Casablanca, is seeking an accounting manager to strengthen its financial team. This position offers a unique opportunity for experienced accounting professionals to contribute to major urban mobility projects in Morocco.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

The accounting manager will report to the Director of Finance and Management Control and will be responsible for maintaining, controlling, and ensuring the reliability of the company's accounting. Primary duties include:

• Receiving, reviewing, and recording accounting documents with accuracy.
• Entering transactions and performing accounting allocations according to current standards.
• Preparing monthly bank reconciliations to ensure data consistency.
• Handling import commitment domiciliation and coordinating with freight forwarders.
• Issuing and tracking customer invoices for effective collection.
• Maintaining regular and organized accounting records on a daily basis.
• Participating in year-end account closing procedures.
• Classifying and archiving accounting documents securely.

Required Qualifications and Skills

To be eligible for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Bachelor's degree plus five years of higher education in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Minimum of five years of professional experience in a similar accounting manager role.
• In-depth knowledge of Moroccan accounting and tax regulations.
• Strong understanding of general and analytical accounting principles and chart of accounts.
• Ability to process accounting entries and analyze accounts with precision.
• Keen attention to detail and strict adherence to professional confidentiality.
