Job Opportunity: 3rd Grade Civil Engineering Technician

The prefecture of Chefchaouen province under the Ministry of Interior is organizing a competition to recruit six 3rd grade technicians specialized in civil engineering. These positions are intended for graduates holding a specialized technician diploma in civil engineering who wish to join the teams in the province's districts.

Competition Details and Available Positions

Successful candidates will be assigned to the following districts of Chefchaouen province: Bab Taza, Bab Berred, Assifane, El Jabha, Bni Ahmed, and Bou Ahmed. The competition is open to Moroccan candidates aged 18 to 40 years, holding a specialized technician diploma in civil engineering issued by recognized vocational training institutions, or equivalent diplomas.

Application Requirements and Necessary Documents

Candidates must register through the public employment portal https://depot.emploi-public.ma from March 11 to March 30, 2026 at 4:30 PM. The application file must include:

• A copy of the required civil engineering diploma
• A copy of the electronic national identity card
• The candidate's curriculum vitae

Examination System

The competition consists of two main tests:

• Written Test: Lasting three hours, it includes multiple-choice questions (MCQ) related to job functions, Ministry of Interior competencies, and required specialties.
• Oral or Practical Test: Lasting 15 to 30 minutes, where the commission interviews the candidate or subjects them to a practical test in civil engineering specialization.

To qualify for the oral test, candidates must obtain an average of at least 12 out of 20 in the written test.

Specific Quotas for Designated Categories

25% of positions are reserved for persons with the status of resistance fighter, nation's dependent, former military personnel, or former combatant. 7% of positions are reserved for persons with disabilities holding a "disabled person" card.

Important Additional Information

For foreign diplomas or those issued by private institutions, the equivalence decision published in the Official Bulletin must be attached. Candidates working in public administrations must submit a participation request accompanied by the final approval from their administration.
