Ibn Zohr University in Agadir announces a recruitment competition for 30 Maître de Conférences positions at the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy in Laâyoune, session of June 15, 2026. This competition is open to both civilian and military candidates, covering a wide range of medical and surgical specialties.

Required Specialties

• Civilian Candidates:
  • Basic Sciences: Biology (various specialties), Medical Informatics (1 post).
  • Clinical Sciences: Anesthesia and Intensive Care (2 posts), Medical Oncology, Radiotherapy, Radiology (2 posts), Pediatrics, Cardiology, Neurology, Psychiatry, Rheumatology, Pulmonology, Gastroenterology, Internal Medicine, Nephrology.
  • Anatomy, Surgery and Surgical Specialties: Peripheral Vascular Surgery, Maxillofacial Surgery, Ophthalmology (2 posts), Obstetrics and Gynecology (2 posts), Otorhinolaryngology, Urology, Thoracic Surgery, Neurosurgery.
• Military Candidates:
  • Anesthesia and Intensive Care (1 post), Radiology (1 post), Otorhinolaryngology (1 post), Peripheral Vascular Surgery (1 post).

Eligibility Criteria

Civilian candidates must have completed the normal residency program at a university hospital center for at least 4 years for medical specialties and 5 years for surgical specialties or internal medicine. For specialties with a 3-year residency, an additional year of practice, training, or internship is required. Military candidates must provide proof of their status.

Application File

The application file includes: a handwritten request addressed to the Dean, a list of titles and scientific works, a statement of hospital-university functions performed, a copy of the medical doctorate diploma (and equivalence if from abroad), a copy of the specialty diploma (and equivalence if from abroad), a certificate of residency completion, a certified copy of the national ID card, a birth certificate, an authorization to participate for civil servants, and any other official documents.
