Basic Eligibility Requirements

Candidates must meet the following conditions:

  • Be permanent employees of Chouaïb Doukkali University in El Jadida at the announcement date
  • Be ranked at least at the second-class administrator grade or state engineer framework or equivalent grade
  • Hold a diploma allowing access to third-class administrator grade or equivalent
  • Have at least two years of effective service as permanent staff

Special Exceptions

If service requirements dictate, permanent employees and contract agents ranked at third-class administrator grade or equivalent may exceptionally apply, provided they have at least 15 years of effective service in state administrations or territorial communities, including at least 4 years in the mentioned grade.

Department Head Duties and Responsibilities

Department heads assume the duties and competencies defined in the job description attached to the appointment decision, as well as tasks assigned by their direct supervisors. These typically include strategic planning, team supervision, policy implementation, and ensuring efficient department operations.

Application File Components

The application file must include the following documents:

  • Application request including approval from the candidate's administration with direct supervisor's opinion on competency
  • Certified copies of obtained diplomas and certificates
  • Copy of appointment decision in required framework and grade or administrative certificate proving administrative status
  • Detailed curriculum vitae including qualifications and professional background
  • Work program and proposed methodology for department management and development
  • Any other documents relevant to the position nature

Submission Process and Timeline

Application files can be downloaded from the university website (www.ucd.ac.ma) or the public employment electronic portal (www.emploi-public.ma) starting from the announcement date. Files must be submitted in 5 copies with electronic version on USB drive to the Human Resources Department at the university presidency between March 11 and March 17, 2026.

Selection Process Stages

After file review by a committee appointed by the university president, lists of candidates accepted for selective interviews will be announced. Interview dates and locations will be communicated via the university website and public employment electronic portal, according to provisions of Decree No. 2-11-681.
