Recruitment of 103 State Engineers 1st Grade at the Ministry of Economy and Finance

The Ministry of Economy and Finance announces a competitive recruitment for 103 State Engineers 1st grade (scale 11) for the year 2026. This is a great opportunity for Moroccan engineers to join a prestigious government department.

Eligibility Requirements

The competition is open to Moroccan nationals aged 45 or less on January 1 of the current year, holding a State Engineer degree from recognized national schools, institutes, or universities, or an equivalent degree recognized by the relevant authorities, in one of the required specialties.

Required Specialties and Number of Positions

• Economics and Statistics (fields: Statistics and Applied Economics, Actuarial Science and Finance, Operations Research, Economic and Social Development Engineering, Agricultural Economics Engineering): 38 positions
• Civil Engineering: 5 positions
• Computer Science: Software Engineering and Development (20 positions), Networks and Systems Administration (15 positions), Information Security (16 positions), Business Intelligence and Data Science (9 positions)

Application Process

Candidates must apply exclusively online via the platform e-recrutement.finances.gov.ma before August 10, 2026, at 4:30 PM. Required documents (PDF format): copy of electronic national ID card, copy of the required diploma, CV with photo, phone number, address, and email, copy of equivalency decision (if applicable), disability certificate (for persons with disabilities), certificate of resistance fighter, ward of the nation, former military, or former combatant (if applicable), final authorization from human resources (for civil servants), and a certificate from the university specifying the specialty if not mentioned on the diploma.

Examination Process

The competition consists of a written exam and an oral (or practical) exam. Written exam: multiple-choice questions (QCM) or a general question or questions on public policies or areas related to the Ministry of Economy and Finance or the required specialty, duration 3 hours, coefficient 2. Oral/practical exam: discussion with the jury on topics related to the required specialties and sector competencies, duration 15 to 30 minutes, coefficient 2. Only candidates scoring at least 12/20 on the written exam are eligible for the oral exam.

Results Announcement

Lists of candidates invited to the written exam and final results will be published on the ministry's website www.finances.gov.ma and the public employment portal www.emploi-public.ma. These lists serve as convocations. Selected candidates will also receive an email notification.

Important Notes

• 25% of positions are reserved for resistance fighters, wards of the nation, former military, or former combatants, and 7% for persons with disabilities.
• Incomplete or incorrectly uploaded applications will be rejected.
• If a successful candidate is found to not meet the requirements or has provided false information, they will be replaced by the next candidate on the waiting list.
