The Municipality of Souk El Arbaa, under the province of Kénitra in the Rabat-Salé-Kénitra region, has announced a regular recruitment competition to fill ten (10) positions for technician of the fourth grade, scale 8. This initiative is part of efforts to strengthen technical competencies within the municipal administration and address operational needs related to the maintenance and development of local facilities and infrastructure.
Based on several legislative and regulatory texts, including the dahir concerning the general statute of public service and the decree setting the conditions for organizing recruitment competitions, the municipality has decided to hold this competition on Sunday, May 24, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Al Gharb Secondary School. Candidates must meet the following conditions:
The ten (10) positions are distributed as follows: five (5) positions in electricity specialization, and five (5) positions in mechanics specialization, with the requirement for mechanics candidates to hold a category C or D driving license. The competition consists of two main tests:
Successful candidates are ranked by merit based on an overall average of at least 10 out of 20, with a waiting list established. Notably, 25% of the positions are reserved for individuals with status as resistance fighters, dependents of the nation, former military, or former combatants, and 7% for persons with disabilities.
The technician grade 4 scale 8 performs specialized technical duties in electricity and mechanics, including preventive maintenance, diagnosis and repair, and ensuring the proper functioning of municipal equipment. The Municipality of Souk El Arbaa, under the supervision of the Ministry of Interior, works to provide local services and develop public facilities, making this position vital for service continuity to citizens. The estimated monthly salary ranges between 4700 and 5400 MAD, according to the applicable scale 8.
