Recruitment Competition: 10 Technician Grade 4 Scale 8 Positions

The Municipality of Souk El Arbaa, under the province of Kénitra in the Rabat-Salé-Kénitra region, has announced a regular recruitment competition to fill ten (10) positions for technician of the fourth grade, scale 8. This initiative is part of efforts to strengthen technical competencies within the municipal administration and address operational needs related to the maintenance and development of local facilities and infrastructure.

Competition Details and General Requirements

Based on several legislative and regulatory texts, including the dahir concerning the general statute of public service and the decree setting the conditions for organizing recruitment competitions, the municipality has decided to hold this competition on Sunday, May 24, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Al Gharb Secondary School. Candidates must meet the following conditions:

• Moroccan nationality.
• Age between 18 years minimum and 40 years maximum as of January 1 of the current year, with the possibility of extending the upper age limit for a period equivalent to valid services for retirement, not exceeding 45 years.
• Hold a technician diploma issued by a vocational training institution established in accordance with the applicable decree, or by an authorized institution, or an equivalent diploma.

Required Specializations and Application Documents

The ten (10) positions are distributed as follows: five (5) positions in electricity specialization, and five (5) positions in mechanics specialization, with the requirement for mechanics candidates to hold a category C or D driving license. Interested candidates must submit an application file containing the following documents:

• An application form stating surname, first name, address, signature, and email address.
• A copy of the required diploma or certificate.
• A copy of the driving license (for mechanics specialization).
• A copy of the national identity card.
• A recent curriculum vitae with a photo.
• Authorization from the employer administration for civil servant candidates.
• Documents proving status as a resistance fighter, dependent of the nation, former military, former combatant, or person with a disability, if applicable.

Files must be submitted within the specified deadlines, with the final submission date set for April 10, 2026, at 4:30 PM. Any incomplete or late file will be rejected.

Competition Stages and Selection Process

The competition consists of two main tests:

1. Written Test: Lasting two hours (2H) with a coefficient of 4, it involves a general subject or multiple-choice questions (MCQ) related to job tasks and territorial community competencies. Candidates who obtain an average of at least 12 out of 20, without an eliminatory score, qualify for the oral test.
2. Oral or Practical Test: Lasting 15 minutes with a coefficient of 6, it allows the commission to interview the candidate on various topics or conduct a practical test in the specialization to assess operational abilities.

Successful candidates are ranked by merit based on an overall average of at least 10 out of 20, with a waiting list established. Notably, 25% of the positions are reserved for individuals with status as resistance fighters, dependents of the nation, former military, or former combatants, and 7% for persons with disabilities.
