Al Omrane Group, the strategic public instrument for implementing government policy in housing and territorial development, is recruiting for the position of Topography Project Manager (01 position) at its Marrakech-Safi regional office. This professional opportunity targets engineers specialized in topography and land management who wish to join a dynamic team contributing to the group's objectives in urban planning and territorial development.

Key Missions and Responsibilities

The Topography Project Manager assumes diverse responsibilities covering the management of topographic and land data, as well as the implementation of the group's orientations in land management and geographic information systems. Key tasks include:

  • Managing land and topographic data for the Omrane Marrakech-Safi Development Company, including processing and analysis.
  • Contributing to the planning, monitoring, and evaluation of land operations.
  • Consolidating, analyzing, and updating the group's land, cadastral, and cartographic databases.
  • Establishing technical performance indicators and working on their continuous improvement.
  • Participating in the processing and verification of land data, as well as collecting and analyzing spatial data required for projects.
  • Contributing to the implementation of GIS management tools and methods such as ArcGIS, QGIS, and geospatial databases.
  • Preparing technical notes, land reports, and urban compliance documents.
  • Participating in identifying land and urban risks and proposing corrective measures.
  • Monitoring regulatory, technical, and digital developments in land, urban planning, and GIS fields.

Position Requirements

Candidates must meet the following conditions:

  • Education: State engineering diploma or equivalent, specializing in surveying and topography.
  • Experience: Initial experience in land processing, GIS, or operational urban planning is desirable.
  • Geographic mobility according to job requirements.

Required Competencies

Technical Competencies

  • Solid knowledge of land processing and urban planning.
  • Mastery of GIS and cartographic tools like QGIS, ArcGIS, and geospatial databases, as well as drawing software such as AutoCAD.
  • Good understanding of urban development, planning, and land regularization processes.
  • Proficiency in office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ability to produce maps, reports, and monitoring tables.
  • Analytical and synthesis skills, with aptitude for processing and exploiting geospatial and land data.
