Job Opportunity: Third-Grade Technician at the Ministry of Industry and Trade

The Ministry of Industry and Trade has announced a regular recruitment competition for eight (8) third-grade technician positions, scale 9. This opportunity is open to holders of a Specialized Technician Diploma in Industrial Engineering, offering a unique chance to join a key ministry in the Kingdom of Morocco.

Competition and Position Details

Recruitment is under code C40782/26, with the written exam scheduled for March 29, 2026, in Rabat or other cities as needed. Candidates must submit their applications online via the public employment portal (emploi-public) by 4:30 PM on February 18, 2026. The estimated monthly salary ranges from 4500 to 5300 MAD, in accordance with scale 9.

Essential Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the following conditions:

  • Moroccan nationality.
  • Age between 18 and 40 years on the exam date (with age exemption for current public employees).
  • Specialized Technician Diploma in Industrial Engineering, issued by accredited vocational training institutions, or an equivalent diploma as per current regulations.

Competition Structure and Stages

The competition consists of two main stages:

  • Written exam: Lasting three hours, it includes general or multiple-choice questions on topics related to the sector and required specialization.
  • Oral or practical exam: Lasting 15 to 30 minutes, where the jury discusses various subjects with the candidate or administers a practical test to assess their ability to perform job functions.
Only candidates scoring at least 12 out of 20 in the written exam are eligible for the oral or practical stage.

Special Quotas for Specific Categories

The ministry reserves 25% of positions for candidates who are former resistance fighters, dependents of the nation, former military personnel, or former combatants, and 7% for persons with disabilities. These categories must provide documentation proving their status in their application file.

The application file must include clear, scanned copies of the following documents:

  • Curriculum Vitae (CV) with a photograph, showing phone number, personal address, and email.
  • Valid biometric national identity card (front and back).
  • Required diploma, accompanied by a certificate specifying the specialization if not stated on the diploma.
  • Equivalence decision from the ministry in charge of Higher Education for holders of foreign degrees or from accredited private higher education institutions.
  • For current public employees: unconditional authorization from their administration.
  • For persons with disabilities: disability card or certificate from the Ministry of Solidarity, Social Development, Equality, and Family.
