State Engineer Recruitment Settat Operational Research Decision Aid

Competition Details

The Ministry of Interior -Province of Settat- announces a recruitment competition for a State Engineer 1st grade (scale 11) in the specialty of Operational Research and Decision Aid. This competition aims to select young professionals to work within the provincial services and contribute to administrative and service development.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must be Moroccan nationals, holding a State Engineer degree in the required specialty (Operational Research and Decision Aid) from a national school or institute, or an equivalent recognized diploma. The maximum age is 45 years at the date of the competition. 25% of positions are reserved for resistance fighters, wards of the nation, and former military personnel, and 7% for persons with disabilities holding a disabled person card.

Number of Positions and Specialties

One position is open for the specialty Operational Research and Decision Aid. The total competition includes 15 positions across various specialties such as IT Security (Cybersecurity), Computer Systems and Networks Engineering, and Big Data.

Competition Stages

Written Exam

The written exam consists of a general topic or multiple-choice questions (QCM) related to the required tasks or functions, or to the specialties of the Ministry of Interior. Duration: three (3) hours. Candidates must score at least 12 out of 20 to be eligible for the oral exam.

Oral Exam

The oral exam is a discussion with the jury on the required specialty to assess the candidate's ability to perform the tasks associated with the grade. The list of candidates admitted to the oral exam is published after the written results.

How to Apply

Registration is mandatory on the public employment portal https://depot.emploi-public.ma/ from May 15, 2026 to May 30, 2026 at 4:30 PM. The application must include a copy of the diploma, a copy of the national ID card, a CV, and a passport photo.

Important Notes

• For foreign or private diplomas, attach the equivalence decision published in the Official Gazette.
• Civil servants must provide approval from their administration.
• Resistance fighters, former military, and former combatants must submit their applications through their respective administrations in addition to online registration.
• Persons with disabilities must provide a certificate from the Ministry of Solidarity and Social Integration.

Exam Date

The written exam will be held on Sunday, June 28, 2026, at the Faculty of Legal and Political Sciences in Settat, or at any other location determined later. Lists of admitted candidates are published on the public employment portal and serve as convocation.
