The Ministry of Interior - Wilaya of the Drâa-Tafilalet region - Errachidia Province announces the organization of a recruitment competition for two first-grade state engineers, specialized in information technology and civil engineering. This prestigious professional opportunity is open to qualified Moroccan engineers wishing to join a leading public administration that contributes to regional development.

Competition Details and Required Conditions

This competition aims to recruit two engineers (02) of first grade on scale 11, who will be assigned to Errachidia Province. The ministry requires candidates to be of Moroccan nationality, aged between 18 and 45 years as of January 1st of the current year. They must also hold a state engineering diploma in the required specialties (IT and civil engineering) issued by authorized national schools, institutes, or university institutions, or equivalent diplomas according to current regulations.

Quota System and Facilitations

The ministry has reserved 25% of the positions open to competition for persons with the status of resistance fighter, dependent of the nation, former military personnel, or former combatant. Additionally, 7% of positions are reserved for persons with disabilities holding a "disabled person" card, reflecting the state's commitment to inclusion and equal opportunity policies.

Examination Stages

The competition includes two main tests:

  • Written test: general subject or multiple-choice questions (MCQ) concerning the missions or functions to be filled, the competencies of the Ministry of Interior, or the required specialties, lasting three hours.
  • Oral or practical test or both: the competition committee discusses various topics with the candidate or subjects them to a practical test in the required specialty, lasting 30 to 45 minutes, aiming to assess their ability to perform the missions associated with the grade in question.
Only candidates who obtain a score of at least 12 out of 20 in the written test are admitted to take the oral or practical test.

Application Procedure and Required Documents

Candidates must imperatively register their applications on the public employment portal (https://depot.emploi-public.ma/) from February 16, 2026 until March 6, 2026 at 4:30 PM. Candidates working in public administrations must, in addition to their registration on the electronic portal, submit their participation requests accompanied by the prior approval of the administration to which they belong (human resources department).

Additional Information

The list of candidates admitted to take the competition is published on the public employment portal (www.emploi-public.ma) and this publication serves as a summons to the tests. The dates of the tests and final results, including the waiting list, are also published on the same portal. The tests will take place on Sunday, March 29, 2026 at the Multidisciplinary College of Errachidia, or possibly in other centers to be determined later.

Opportunity to Join the Ministry of Interior

The Ministry of Interior represents one of the most important ministries in the Moroccan administrative structure, playing a central role in ensuring security and stability, as well as implementing public policies. State engineers within this ministry work on developing technical and digital infrastructure, supervise engineering projects, and contribute to modernizing public administration. Their missions include designing information systems, managing databases, developing applications, and supervising construction and infrastructure projects.

Advice for Candidates

To succeed in this competition, we advise candidates to thoroughly prepare for the written test by reviewing the fundamentals of the required specialties, as well as familiarizing themselves with the competencies and structure of the Ministry of Interior. We also recommend preparing a detailed curriculum vitae highlighting technical and administrative experiences and skills. It is important to practice for oral tests by preparing presentations on previous projects and professional achievements.
