State Engineer Recruitment Competition at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates announces a competitive recruitment for 16 State Engineers (Grade 1, Scale 11) in 2026. Positions are split between two specialties: Networks and Telecommunications (10 positions) and IT Development (6 positions). One position is reserved for the Moroccan expatriate sector in the Networks and Telecommunications specialty.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must be Moroccan nationals, aged 45 years or younger, and hold a State Engineer degree from a recognized national school, institute, or university, or an equivalent diploma officially recognized. The diploma must be in one of the two required specialties: Networks and Telecommunications or IT Development.

Examination Process

The competition consists of three tests:

  • General written test: Related to the specialty or job functions, 3 hours, coefficient 7.
  • Specific written test: Essay on the Ministry's areas of competence, 2 hours, coefficient 2.
  • Oral interview: Discussion with the jury to assess the candidate's skills and suitability, 30 minutes, coefficient 5.

Applications must be submitted online via the dedicated platform: https://concours.maec.gov.ma. Required documents include:

  • CV with photo.
  • Copy of national ID card (both sides).
  • Copy of the required diploma.
  • Equivalence decision for foreign or private diplomas.
  • Final authorization for civil servants.
  • Certificate of resistance, veteran status, etc. (if applicable).
  • Disability certificate (if applicable).
  • Institution letter specifying specialty if not stated on diploma.

Applications must be submitted by August 10, 2026, at 4:30 PM. Incomplete or incorrectly uploaded files will be rejected.

Test Location and Date

Exams will be held on September 27, 2026, in Rabat. The exact location will be announced later on official websites and via email to eligible candidates.

Additional Information

25% of positions are reserved for resistance members, former soldiers, etc., and 7% for persons with disabilities. False information will lead to disqualification.
