State Engineer Recruitment Competition in Civil Engineering

The Chefchaouen Province is organizing a competition to recruit two first-grade state engineers specializing in civil engineering. Participation Requirements

Candidates must be of Moroccan nationality, aged at least 18 years and not more than 45 years as of January 1st of the current year. They must hold, at the time of registration, a state engineering diploma in the aforementioned specialty, issued by national schools, institutes, or university institutions authorized to deliver it, or an equivalent diploma according to current regulatory provisions.

Quota System

A quota of 25% of the budgetary positions is reserved for persons with the status of resistance fighter, nation's ward, former military personnel, or former combatant. A quota of 7% is also reserved for persons with disabilities holding a "disabled person" card, reflecting the administration's commitment to inclusion and equal opportunity policies.

Examination Structure

The competition consists of two main tests:

  • Written Test: Lasting three hours with a coefficient of 4, this test covers a general subject or multiple-choice questions (MCQ) related to the tasks or functions to be performed, the competencies of the Ministry of Interior, or the required specialties.
  • Oral or Practical Test: Lasting between 30 and 45 minutes with a coefficient of 3, this test involves an interview with the jury on various topics, or a practical test in the required specialty, aimed at assessing the candidate's ability to perform the functions associated with the grade in question.

Only candidates who obtain an average of at least 12/20 in the written test are eligible to take the oral test.

Application Procedure

Applications must be registered on the public employment website https://depot.emploi-public.ma during the period from March 11 to March 30, 2026, until 4:30 PM. The application file must be accompanied by a copy of the required diploma, a copy of the electronic national identity card, and the candidate's curriculum vitae.

Important Additional Information

  • For foreign diplomas or those issued by private institutions, the equivalence decision published in the Official Gazette and the certified diplomas specified by the same decision must be attached when registering via the portal.
  • Candidates working in public administrations must, in addition to registering on the electronic portal, submit requests to participate in the competition accompanied by the final approval of the administration to which they belong (human resources departments).
  • Candidates with the status of resistance fighter, nation's ward, former military personnel, or former combatant must submit their requests through the administrations responsible for managing their affairs, in addition to registering on the electronic portal within the specified deadlines.
  • Candidates with disabilities must subsequently provide a certificate issued by the Ministry of Solidarity, Social Integration, and Family.
  • In addition to the required documents, candidates definitively admitted to this competition are required to complete their files with the administrative documents required by regulation for appointment to public service.

Latest Updates

The lists of candidates admitted to take the competition are published on the public employment portal www.emploi-public.ma, and this publication serves as a summons to take the tests. The results of the written test and the final results, including the waiting list, are published on the same portal and can be disseminated through all available means.

If during the verification of participation conditions it is found that a candidate previously declared successful does not meet one or more required conditions, they will be replaced (in order and according to merit) by another candidate registered on the waiting list who meets these conditions.
