Specialized Civil Engineering Technician Position at Al Omrane Group

Al Omrane Group, a strategic public entity in Morocco's housing and territorial development sector, is seeking applications for the position of Specialized Civil Engineering Technician. This opening presents a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team that contributes to implementing government policies in a vital industry.

General Position Information

This is a regular recruitment process with one position available. Interested candidates must submit their applications by April 1, 2026, exclusively through the Group's official website. Key Duties and Responsibilities

Under the supervision of management, the successful candidate will handle a range of technical and administrative tasks, including:

  • Participating in project preparation and technical management documentation.
  • Preparing Service Orders, work stoppage orders, and work resumption orders.
  • Establishing account statements and attachments, and verifying accounts from architects, engineering firms, and contractors.
  • Reviewing project invoices and tracking their payments.
  • Assisting project managers in monitoring and controlling work progress on sites.
  • Helping management prepare tender documents in both paper and digital formats.
  • Opening a distribution register for tender documents and delivering them to bidders.
  • Archiving project-related files and documents.
  • Processing account entries and invoice registration in the information system.

Position Requirements

To be eligible, candidates must meet the following conditions:

  • Education: Hold a Specialized Technician diploma (BAC+2 equivalent) in Civil Engineering, or Building and Public Works (state diploma or recognized private diploma).
  • Professional Experience: Minimum of 8 years in the technical field (civil engineering and/or construction). Only professional experiences directly related to the position's duties will be considered. Candidates must detail their experiences in their CV with exact start and end dates (dd/mm/yyyy).
  • Geographical Mobility: Willingness to relocate as required by work assignments.

Required Skills and Competencies

Technical Competencies:

  • Proven knowledge and practice in civil engineering.
  • Mastery of negotiation skills with external partners.
  • Knowledge of public procurement regulations and urban planning rules.
  • Understanding of key administrative management and contract file control provisions.
  • Basic knowledge in real estate matters.
  • Proficiency in IT tools (office software and civil engineering software).

Behavioral and Managerial Competencies:

  • Ability to cooperate with team colleagues to achieve common objectives.
  • Capacity to set priorities and goals in consultation with management, ensuring follow-up.
  • Ensuring compliance of actions with defined guidelines and procedures.
