The State Secretariat for Maritime Fisheries, under the Ministry of Agriculture, Maritime Fisheries, Rural Development and Water and Forests, announces the opening of applications for two vacant service head positions within the central administration. These positions intended for permanent civil servants and contract agents in the sector represent an exceptional opportunity for professional advancement and contribution to the development of national maritime fishing activities.
The announcement concerns two service head positions at the Directorate for Monitoring Fishing Activities in Rabat. These senior administrative positions require specialized administrative and technical competencies in the maritime fisheries field. The service head will be responsible for coordinating and implementing fishing activity monitoring programs, supervising operational teams, and ensuring the application of legislation and regulations related to maritime fisheries.
Exceptionally, if service needs require it, permanent civil servants and contract agents classified at third-class administrator grade or in one of the equivalent index grades may apply, provided they have at least fifteen years of effective service in state administrations or territorial communities, including four years minimum in the mentioned grade.
Application files must be submitted exclusively by email to candidatures@mpm.gov.ma no later than April 10, 2026 at 4:30 PM. Any application received after this date, sent by means other than those announced, or not meeting the required conditions will not be considered.
After reviewing application files by a specialized committee, the list of candidates meeting the required conditions will be announced for a selection interview. The date and location of the interview will be communicated later via the public services portal www.service-public.ma, the website of the State Secretariat for Maritime Fisheries www.mpm.gov.ma, and notice boards at various central administration headquarters and external services.
After the selection interview, the committee will prepare a final report including names of selected candidates ranked by merit.
