Competition for Recruitment: Senior Commercial Practices 'Distribution Network' Controller – Insurance and Social Welfare Control Authority
The Insurance and Social Welfare Control Authority (ACAPS) is launching a call for applications to fill the position of Senior Commercial Practices 'Distribution Network' Controller within the Policyholder Protection Directorate. This recruitment aims to strengthen its structures and enhance regulatory oversight of insurance practices.
Key Responsibilities
The position involves coordinating and conducting on-site and off-site controls related to the commercial practices of insurance and reinsurance companies, ensuring regulatory compliance, detecting deviations, and contributing to policyholder protection.
Main Activities
- Preparation and planning: Contribute to the development of control plans, collect and review documentation (contracts, endorsements, commercial materials, internal procedures), identify priority control points and risk areas.
- Supervision and execution: Directly supervise Level 2 controllers, conduct complex or sensitive missions independently, verify regulatory and ethical compliance of pre-contractual and contractual information provided to policyholders.
- Analysis and follow-up: Consolidate findings, draft or validate summary notes and sections of interim reports, formulate corrective or preventive recommendations, identify cases requiring hierarchical arbitration.
- Reporting and continuous improvement: Participate in periodic activity reports, identify recurring trends, propose methodological improvements, and contribute to the capitalization of lessons learned.
Required Profile
- Master's degree (Bac+5) in Insurance, Law, Economics, Management, or equivalent.
- Minimum 6 years of professional experience in insurance, audit, or control.
- Desired skills: ability to control industry players, interpersonal skills, analytical and synthesis skills, project management.
