Reopening for Regional Culture Director position in Oriental region

The Ministry of Youth, Culture and Communication - Department of Culture has announced the reopening of applications for the position of Regional Director of Culture for the Oriental region. This initiative is part of the ministry's efforts to strengthen regional cultural management and administrative decentralization.

Who Can Apply?

Eligible candidates include permanent civil servants and contract staff currently working in various state administrations and local authorities, provided they meet the regulatory conditions outlined in Decree No. 2.11.681 of November 25, 2011, particularly the second paragraph of Article 6.

Application Requirements

• Candidates must be permanent civil servants or contract staff in a public administration or local authority.
• Possess the required skills and experience as per the job description attached to the decision.
• Submit a complete application file in accordance with legal provisions.

How to Apply

Applicants must send their files through the administrative hierarchy to the secretariat of the Directorate of Administrative and Financial Affairs, no later than May 7, 2026. The application file must include:

• A written application letter.
• A motivation letter (4 copies) explaining the reasons for applying.
• A curriculum vitae (4 copies) detailing qualifications and professional background.
• A comprehensive action plan (4 copies) including the proposed work program and methodology for managing and developing the administrative unit.
• An opinion from the direct supervisor regarding professional competence (in a sealed confidential envelope).
• Authorization from the employing administration for candidates outside the culture sector.
• A digital copy of the application in PDF format on an electronic medium (CD).

Selection Process

After reviewing the applications, a list of candidates selected for interviews will be announced. The date and location of the interviews will be determined later in accordance with Articles 6 and 9 of Decree No. 2.11.681.
