The Moroccan Company for Tourism Engineering (SMIT) is recruiting a Regional Monitoring Officer for the Fès-Meknès and Drâa-Tafilalet regions. This permanent position offers a unique chance to drive tourism development projects in Morocco.
Key Responsibilities
As a Regional Monitoring Officer, you will:
- Provide strategic guidance and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage the daily implementation of the program at the regional level.
- Oversee reimbursement and recovery processes from service providers.
- Handle overdue files and implement corrective action plans.
- Ensure data reliability in the information system related to recovery.
- Develop partnerships to support program beneficiaries.
- Prepare progress reports and monitor field alerts.
- Coordinate with local authorities and represent SMIT.
Candidate Profile
To be considered, you must have:
- Education: At least a Bachelor's degree (Bac+3) in a relevant field.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in a similar role, preferably in microfinance or entrepreneurship.
- Skills: Fluency in Arabic and French, strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and team spirit. Knowledge of project management methodologies (PMI, Agile/Scrum) is a plus.
- Willingness to travel across the region.
