Overview

The Moroccan Company for Tourism Engineering (SMIT) is recruiting a Regional Monitoring Officer for the southern regions. This position is part of the Project Management Unit (UGP) and aims to support tourism development in the southern provinces.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
• Operational management of the program at the regional level.
• Managing reimbursements and recovery from service providers.
• Handling overdue cases and implementing corrective action plans.
• Developing partnerships for program beneficiaries.
• Producing progress reports and monitoring field alerts.
• Representing SMIT with local authorities.

Required Profile

• Bachelor's degree (Bac+3) or higher.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in microfinance or entrepreneurship.
• Fluency in Arabic and French.
• Proficiency in reporting tools such as Excel and BI.
• Willingness to travel across Morocco.
• Team spirit and diplomatic skills.

Position Details

This is a fixed-term project contract based in the regional capital of the South. It offers a unique opportunity to contribute to strategic tourism projects.
