Recruitment of Journalists at Maghreb Arabe Presse (MAP) 2026

Maghreb Arabe Presse (MAP), a strategic public establishment, is organizing a recruitment competition for six (06) journalists (statutory scale 11), distributed as follows:

• Profile 1: Four (04) journalist-writers (French and Arabic speakers).
• Profile 2: One (01) video production journalist.
• Profile 3: One (01) audio production journalist.

Positions are based in Rabat or regional hubs. The application deadline is July 23, 2026, at 4:30 PM. Written exams will be held on August 2, 2026.

Eligibility Requirements

• Moroccan nationality.
• Under 40 years old by the exam date.
• Good moral character and civic rights.
• No criminal convictions or disciplinary sanctions.
• Not registered in the central disciplinary record of public administrations.

Required Qualifications

Profile 1: Journalist Writer

Master's degree or equivalent in journalism, translation, political science, literature (Arabic, French, English, Spanish). Advanced level in English or Spanish.

Profiles 2 and 3: Video/Audio Production Journalist

Master's degree or equivalent in audiovisual journalism, audiovisual and cinema professions, digital media, multimedia and content creation.

Candidates must fill out the online application form at candidature.map.ma, indicating the competition reference and uploading all required documents:

• Copy of the National Electronic Identity Card (CNIE).
• Dated and signed application request.
• Recent ID photo.
• Copies of diplomas obtained since the baccalaureate.
• Detailed CV.
• Work certificates and career record (if applicable).

Selection Process

Applications will be pre-selected by a committee. Shortlisted candidates will take the following written tests:

• General essay (2 hours, coefficient 12).
• Technical knowledge questionnaire (1.5 hours, coefficient 3).
• Translation into a foreign language (1.5 hours, coefficient 2).

Successful candidates will then have oral interviews and personality tests (30 minutes, coefficient 7).
