Recruitment Details for Accountants at the National Fisheries Office (ONP)
The National Fisheries Office (Office National des Pêches - ONP) has announced an open recruitment competition for three (03) accountant positions, distributed between the headquarters in Casablanca, the Jebha Delegation, and the El Jadida Delegation. This regular recruitment aims to strengthen the financial and accounting teams of this key institution in Morocco's fisheries sector.
Accountant Missions
The main responsibilities of the accountant include:
- Maintaining the general accounting of the entity in compliance with current legislation.
- Performing periodic accounting closings, preparing financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, trial balances), and participating in annual closing procedures.
- Collecting, analyzing, and verifying the consistency and reliability of accounting data and documents.
- Conducting daily and monthly bank and account reconciliations.
- Preparing supporting balances per account.
- Preparing periodic summary reports and transmitting them to the Finance and Accounting Department (DFC).
- Ensuring the maintenance, archiving, and classification of accounting documents.
- Preparing and transmitting daily cash status to the DFC.
- Monitoring and regularly analyzing cash flows of the entity.
- Reviewing reconciliation statements and clearing suspense items.
Candidate Profile
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Moroccan nationality.
- Under 40 years of age as of December 31, 2026.
- Hold a specialized technician diploma, BTS, DUT, or equivalent in finance or accounting.
