The Royal Society for the Encouragement of the Horse (SOREC) is organizing a recruitment competition to fill the position of Track Technician (M/F) in Marrakech. This opportunity is part of strengthening the teams of the company, a key player in the equine sector in Morocco for more than 100 years.
SOREC is a public company under the supervision of the Ministry of Agriculture and Maritime Fisheries. Its main missions are to oversee breeding, improve horse breeds, develop horse racing, and manage games at the national level. Internationally, it promotes the performance of Moroccan horses. With 600 employees, SOREC perpetuates the equestrian tradition of the Kingdom.
Reporting to the Manager of Equestrian Sites, the successful candidate will ensure a safe and high-quality environment for horse training by maintaining optimal equestrian surfaces, irrigation systems, and associated equipment. Responsibilities include:
The ideal candidate should have a Bac+2/3 in electromechanics or civil engineering with proven experience in a similar role. Required skills include electrotechnics, topography, and strong abilities in mechanics, earthworks, hydraulics, and electricity. Ethical behavior, rigor, teamwork, and excellent interpersonal skills are also essential.
