Recruitment Competition for Associate Professors at FMPA Agadir

The President of Ibn Zohr University in Agadir announces the opening of a recruitment competition for Associate Professors (Maîtres de Conférences) at the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy of Agadir (FMPA). This competition aims to fill 05 positions in various medical and surgical specialties, with the exam session scheduled for September 3, 2026.

Required Specialties

The positions are distributed as follows:

• Pediatrics: 01 position
• Anesthesiology and Intensive Care: 02 positions
• Pediatric Surgery: 01 position
• Peripheral Vascular Surgery: 01 position

Eligibility Criteria

This competition is open to civil candidates who have completed the normal residency program at university hospital centers affiliated with a faculty of medicine, pharmacy, or dental medicine. The residency duration must be at least four years for medical, pharmaceutical, or odontological specialties, and five years for surgical specialties or internal medicine. For specialties with a normal residency duration of three years, candidates must provide proof of an additional year of practice, training, or internship.

Application File

Candidates must submit a handwritten application addressed to the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy of Agadir, including their full name, address, and the desired specialty. The following documents must be attached:

• A list of academic titles and scientific works;
• A statement of hospital-university functions performed by the candidate;
• A certified copy of the Doctor of Medicine diploma;
• A certified copy of the specialty diploma;
• A certificate of completion of the normal residency program, certified true to the original;
• A certified copy of the National Identity Card;
• An extract of birth certificate;
• Authorization to participate in the competition for civil servants.

Documents must be either certified by the dean of the issuing faculty or authenticated by competent authorities for Moroccan candidates with foreign diplomas.
