Recruitment Competition for Associate Professors at the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy Laâyoune

The President of Ibn Zohr University in Agadir announces a recruitment competition for Associate Professors (Maîtres de conférences) at the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy of Laâyoune, session of August 12, 2026, to fill 12 positions in various medical and surgical specialties.

• Radiology: 1 position
• Internal Medicine: 1 position
• Nephrology: 1 position
• Peripheral Vascular Surgery: 1 position
• Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery: 1 position
• Urology: 1 position
• Neurosurgery: 1 position
• Emergency and Disaster Medicine: 1 position
• Obstetrics and Gynecology: 1 position

Eligibility Conditions

The competition is open to civilian candidates who have successfully completed the regular residency program at university hospital centers affiliated with a faculty of medicine and pharmacy, lasting at least 4 years for medical specialties and 5 years for surgical specialties or internal medicine. For specialties with a regular residency duration of 3 years, candidates must provide proof of one additional year of practice, training, or internship.

Application File

Candidates must send their application request on plain paper addressed to the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy of Laâyoune, including their full name, address, and the specialty they wish to apply for. The application must be accompanied by the following documents:

• A list of titles and scientific works
• A statement of hospital-university functions performed
• A copy of the medical doctorate diploma (and equivalence certificate if from abroad)
• A copy of the specialty diploma (and equivalence certificate if from abroad)
• A certificate of completion of the regular residency program
• A certified copy of the National Identity Card
• A birth certificate
• Authorization to participate for civil servants (issued by the Ministry of Health)
• Any official documents supporting the candidate's qualifications, services, and teaching activities

Registration is exclusively online via the university portal at the email address: rh.fmpl@uiz.ac.ma before July 13, 2026.

Competition Date
