Recruitment Competition for Customs Inspectors (2nd Grade)
The Ministry of Economy and Finance is organizing a competition on Sunday, September 20, 2026, in Rabat and other cities to be determined, to recruit 250 Customs Inspectors (2nd grade) for the Customs and Indirect Taxes Administration. This recruitment aims to strengthen human resources in external services by hiring qualified professionals to carry out tax missions, protect the national economy, promote investment, and protect consumers.
25% of these positions are reserved for persons with the status of resistance fighter, ward of the nation, former military, or former combatant.
Eligibility Conditions
- Moroccan nationality.
- Aged between 21 and 30 years on January 1, 2026, with possible extension for prior civil or military service not exceeding 35 years.
- Hold a Bachelor's degree (Licence) in fundamental studies or professional license in economics, management, or law, or an equivalent recognized diploma.
- Free from any disease or disability affecting physical or mental capacity, especially varicose veins, chronic nervous system disorders, mental illness, stuttering, etc.
- Commit to work within the Customs Administration for at least 8 years, otherwise repayment of salaries with a penalty of 1/8 per incomplete year.
How to Apply
Applications must be submitted exclusively online via: https://e-recrutement.finances.gov.ma, uploading scanned documents in PDF format. The deadline is August 10, 2026, at 4:30 PM.
Required documents:
- Copy of the electronic national identity card.
- Certificate proving status of resistance fighter, ward of the nation, former military, or combatant (if applicable).
- Copy of the required diploma.
- Equivalence certificate for foreign diplomas.
- Curriculum vitae with photo, phone number, and email.
- Medical certificate issued within the last 3 months.
- Final authorization from the parent administration for civil servants.
Competition Tests
- Written test: Duration 2 hours, coefficient 3. Includes multiple-choice questions or questions related to the duties of the position, or economic, social, cultural, and scientific topics.
- Physical test: 1500-meter run. Only candidates scoring at least 12/20 in the written test are allowed.
- Oral test: Duration 20 to 30 minutes, coefficient 2. Discussion with the jury on various topics or specialty questions. Only candidates scoring at least 10/20 in the physical test are admitted.

Lists of candidates invited to the written test and competition results will be published on: www.finances.gov.ma, www.emploi-public.ma, and www.douane.gov.ma. Publication serves as official summons.
Successful candidates must wear formal attire, work according to specific schedules, and undergo customs and military training before being assigned to various customs services based on the administration's needs.
The administration verifies at each stage that candidates meet all requirements. If a successful candidate is found to lack conditions or provided false information, they will be replaced by another from the waiting list.
