The National Railways Office (ONCF) is launching a recruitment competition for the position of Head of IT Urbanization and Architecture Service. This regular recruitment is aimed at senior executives with proven experience in IT architecture.

Main Missions
As Head of IT Urbanization and Architecture Service, you will be responsible for:
- Developing and maintaining the complete IT system map of ONCF by inventorying existing applications, platforms, and components, consolidating flows and interactions between systems.
- Organizing and facilitating architecture workshops in close coordination with all DSID entities.
- Defining and enforcing common IT urbanization repositories and rules (architecture charter, authorized technology catalog, integration patterns, DAS model).
- Leading application and technical architecture reviews and validating architecture files for new IT projects.
- Conducting technical and application architecture studies for new IT projects: needs analysis, target architecture definition, solution evaluation.
- Ensuring documentation of technical architectures, integration schemas, functional maps, and common technical repositories.
- Identifying opportunities to rationalize the IT portfolio (technical debt, application redundancies, obsolescence).
- Contributing to defining DSID's IT and technical architecture directions.
- Contributing to the definition of the target IT vision and evolution roadmap.
- Ensuring technological and architectural watch (TOGAF, ArchiMate).
Candidate Profile
Education
Engineering degree or Master's from top engineering schools, universities, or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or equivalent field.
Professional Experience
At least 5 years of proven experience in IT architecture/urbanization, application architecture design, or IT project management. Experience in IT mapping and in a transformation environment is highly appreciated.
Technical Skills
- Mastery of urbanization principles, IT architecture, and modern application architectures.
- Understanding of development environments (Java, Spring Boot, .NET, Angular, React, Node.js).
- Knowledge of APIs, microservices, API Management, and application integration mechanisms.
- Good understanding of Cloud environments, virtualization, Docker, Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of network architectures, cybersecurity, and secure architectures.
- Ability to map applications, flows, dependencies, and interactions.
- Proficiency in modeling and documentation tools (Visio, Draw.io, ArchiMate).
- Knowledge of databases, middleware, ESB, and event-driven architectures.
- Knowledge of the TOGAF framework.
Soft Skills
