Job Overview

The Office of Vocational Training and Employment Promotion (OFPPT) is recruiting a Head of the Africa Division (1 position). This strategic role is part of OFPPT's drive to strengthen cooperation with African countries.

Key Responsibilities

According to the official job description, the main duties include:

• Implementing OFPPT's operational strategy for cooperation with African countries.
• Developing a marketing strategy in African countries.
• Establishing cooperation agreements to implement OFPPT's partnerships.
• Prospecting cooperation opportunities in vocational training in Africa.
• Seeking international funding for cooperation projects.
• Participating in tenders related to OFPPT's services in human resources development and vocational training in Africa.
• Implementing the African Alliance for Vocational Training Development.
• Participating in or organizing forums and conferences on vocational training in Africa.
• Mobilizing internal and external resources for each project.
• Monitoring African trainees in Morocco.
• Establishing a dashboard to track commitments.

Required Profile

External Candidates:

• Master's degree or equivalent in international relations, international law, international trade, or related fields (qualifying for grade 11 of the civil service).
• At least 5 years of professional experience in international relations/cooperation, ideally with Africa.
• Perfect command of English.
• Under 45 years of age at the time of appointment.
• Moroccan nationality.

Current OFPPT Employees:

• Permanent employee classified at grade 19, or by exception at grade 16 with at least 10 years of effective service in category C.
• Perfect command of English.
