Morocco Urban Ministry seeks 2 Department Heads

The Ministry of National Territory Planning, Urban Planning, Housing and City Policy announces a call for applications for two vacant positions of Department Head within the Directorate of Cooperation, Partnership and Communication. Position Details

• Internal Communication Department: This role aims to enhance communication between the ministry's various services and improve information flow.
• Bilateral Cooperation and Partnership Department: This role involves managing cooperation relations with national and international entities and developing strategic partnerships.

Eligibility Requirements

Candidates must meet the following conditions:

• Be tenured civil servants or contractual agents currently working for the ministry.
• Be classified at least at the grade of Senior Manager (Grade 11) or State Engineer or an equivalent grade.
• Hold a diploma allowing access to the grade of Manager Grade 3 or equivalent.
• Have at least 2 years of actual service as a tenured employee or 3 years for contractual agents.
• An exemption is possible for employees currently serving as department heads or those with 15 years of service, including 4 years in the required grade.

Application File

The application file must include:

• A written application addressed to the Minister of National Territory Planning, Urban Planning, Housing and City Policy.
• A detailed CV including qualifications, professional background, and previous positions held.
• All documents proving the required conditions.
• A work plan and methodology proposed for managing and developing the relevant administrative unit.
• The approval of the candidate's home administration, along with the direct supervisor's opinion on the candidate's competence.

Submission Process

Applications must be submitted in six copies to the Human Resources Division of the Directorate of Human Resources and Financial and General Affairs, located at the ministry's headquarters: Angle rues Al Joumayz et Al Jaouz, Secteur N°16, Hay Riad, Rabat. The deadline is September 4, 2026, at 4:00 PM.

Selection Committee

A committee appointed by decision of the Minister will select complete applications and conduct selection interviews. Results will be published on www.emploi-public.ma and on the ministry's websites.
