Morocco Agriculture Ministry selects 3 department heads in Marrakech and Essaouira

The Ministry of Agriculture, Maritime Fisheries, Rural Development, and Water and Forests - Department of Agriculture - has opened applications for three responsibility positions. This initiative aims to strengthen administrative structures and ensure smooth operations.

Available Positions

• Head of Animal Production Chains Service at the Regional Directorate of Marrakech-Safi.
• Head of Hydro-Agricultural Development Service at the Provincial Directorate of Marrakech.
• Head of Social Protection and Statistics Service at the Provincial Directorate of Essaouira.

Eligibility Criteria

The competition is open to civil servants and contract agents working within the Department of Agriculture who meet the following conditions:

• At least ranked as a Principal Administrator (2nd grade) or State Engineer, or equivalent grade.
• Hold a degree or diploma allowing access to the grade of Principal Administrator (3rd grade) or equivalent.
• Have at least two years of actual service as a permanent employee, or three years for contract agents.

Exceptionally, applications are also accepted from permanent employees and contract agents ranked as Principal Administrator (3rd grade) or equivalent, with at least 15 years of actual service, including 4 years in the current grade.
