Candidates must hold Moroccan nationality and possess a PhD or State Doctorate (or equivalent qualification) in one of the specified specializations. For non-civil servant candidates, the maximum age requirement is 45 years at the time of the competition.

Two-Phase Application Procedure

The application process follows a structured two-phase approach:

First Phase: Mandatory electronic application through the emploi-public.ma portal with digital submission of required documents, including national identity card and doctoral degree in the relevant specialization.

Second Phase: Physical submission of complete application file to the National Institute of Maritime Studies in Casablanca, containing:

  • Application receipt from the electronic portal
  • Formal application specifying chosen specialization
  • Five copies of curriculum vitae
  • Five certified copies of national identity card
  • Five copies of doctoral degree
  • Five copies of doctoral dissertation
  • Research publications and academic works

Competition Examination Structure

The recruitment competition consists of two main components:

Preliminary Evaluation: Assessment of academic qualifications and research portfolio, examining the quality of scientific production and academic background.

Oral Examination: Presentation and discussion before the selection committee, allowing candidates to demonstrate communication skills and analytical capabilities.

Important Information for Applicants

A quota of 25% of positions is reserved for former resistance fighters and liberation army members, subject to presentation of appropriate documentation.

Civil servant candidates must obtain administrative authorization from their original department, while non-civil servants must comply with the specified age limit.
