Tata Province, under the Ministry of the Interior, is holding a recruitment exam for one (01) post of 1st-grade State Engineer, scale 11, specialising in civil engineering. The successful candidate will be appointed to Tata Province, giving this offer a precise territorial scope within the territorial administration of the Souss-Massa region.
This is a regular recruitment procedure. Applications are submitted exclusively through the emploi-public platform, under competition code C 44578/26. The tests will take place on Sunday 29 November 2026 at the Regional Centre for Education and Training Professions in Tata and, where applicable, at one or more other centres determined later.
Salary: from 8000 to 11500 MAD per month.
The competition is open to candidates of Moroccan nationality aged at least 18 and at most 45 on 1 January of the current year. The age reference date is 1 January, not the application date, which is a practical point to check before registering.
Candidates must hold, mandatorily at the time of registering their application, a State Engineer diploma in the civil engineering specialisation issued by national schools, institutes or university institutions authorised to deliver it, or one of the diplomas recognised as equivalent under the applicable regulatory provisions.
This last rule applies to a specific category of holders of foreign or private-institution diplomas; it does not automatically apply to all candidates.
25% of the budgeted posts put out to competition are reserved for persons with the status of resistant, ward of the nation, former soldier or former combatant, and 7% of the same number of posts are reserved for persons with disabilities holding the “person with disability” card. These two proportions are independent: each is calculated on the number of posts put out to competition, not on the other share.
Candidates with the status of resistant, ward of the nation, former soldier or former combatant must submit their applications through the administrations responsible for managing their affairs, in addition to registering on the electronic platform within the set deadlines. Candidates with disabilities must, for their part, subsequently provide a certificate issued by the Ministry of Solidarity, Women, Family and Social Development.
The competition includes two tests, on which candidates are assessed for final selection.
The written test covers a general topic or multiple-choice questions relating to the duties or functions to be performed, the remit of the Ministry of the Interior or the required specialisations. It lasts three (3) hours.
The panel discusses various topics with the candidate or sets a practical test in the required specialisation, in order to assess the candidate's ability to perform the duties or functions attached to the grade put out to competition. This test lasts between 30 and 45 minutes.
Only candidates who obtain an average of at least 12 out of 20 in the written test are admitted to the oral test. This threshold is eliminatory.
The lists of candidates admitted to sit the competition are published on the emploi-public platform; this publication constitutes a summons to the tests, without prejudice to the possibility of summoning candidates by any other available means. The written test results and the final results, including the waiting list, are published on the same platform and may be circulated by any available means.
If, when verifying eligibility conditions, it emerges that a candidate already declared successful does not meet one or more of the required conditions, that candidate is replaced, in order and according to merit, by another candidate on the waiting list who meets those conditions.
In addition to the documents required at registration, candidates declared definitively successful must complete their files with the administrative documents legally required for appointment to the public service.
This checklist is an organisational tool for candidates; it does not replace the regulatory conditions set out in the competition announcement.
