Daily Responsibilities and Duties

Reporting to the Legal Advice and Contracts Unit within the Legal Department, the Litigation Officer will undertake the following key responsibilities:

• Participate in managing relationships with internal entities and intermediaries regarding pre-litigation matters
• Propose, negotiate, and formalize amicable settlements
• Contribute to implementing and operationalizing the litigation management framework
• Monitor litigation cases and participate in selecting appropriate lawyers based on case specifics
• Represent CDG before judicial authorities while strictly adhering to hierarchical guidelines
• Oversee cases assigned to law firms and specialized external service providers
• Track court hearings and judicial deadlines while maintaining a precise schedule
• Monitor judgments and appeal procedures, ensuring execution when necessary
• Process judicial notifications and report them to relevant authorities
• Manage expense reports and fees related to handled cases
• Participate in managing relationships with lawyers and specialized external judicial service providers

Required Qualifications and Experience

CDG seeks candidates meeting the following criteria:

• Master's degree in Law (Bac+5 level) with specialization in litigation, recovery, or judicial law
• Proven experience of 5 to 8 years in handling and monitoring litigation cases (both amicable and judicial)

Technical and Professional Competencies

• Business law, civil law, contract law, and litigation procedures
• Judicial and parajudicial procedures (formal notices, summons, execution, recovery)
• Case instruction, analysis, and monitoring with precision and methodology
