Position Details and Required Responsibilities

The new department head will undertake a range of important tasks and responsibilities including:

  • Overseeing the management of the university's financial budget and implementing approved financial policies.
  • Developing and executing financial strategies that support the university's academic and administrative objectives.
  • Coordinating work between various financial and administrative departments within the university presidency.
  • Preparing periodic financial reports and providing recommendations to improve financial performance.
  • Performing tasks assigned by their direct supervisor according to the established job description.

Application Requirements and Qualifications

The university has established precise conditions for application to this leadership position, requiring candidates to:

  • Be permanent employees of Chouaïb Doukkali University in El Jadida at the time of announcement.
  • Be classified at minimum as a second-class administrator or within the state engineer framework or equivalent grade.
  • Hold a certificate or diploma allowing access to third-class administrator grade or equivalent.
  • Have at least four years (04) of service as a permanent employee.
  • Previous experience in performing head of service duties, with possible exemption from this condition if service necessity requires.

Interested candidates must prepare a complete application file including:

  • A signed application request with approval from their administration and their direct supervisor's opinion on their competence.
  • Certified copies of obtained certificates and diplomas.
  • Copy of the appointment decision in the required framework and grade or administrative certificate proving status.
  • Detailed curriculum vitae according to the model attached to the decision.
  • Proposed work program for departmental management and development methodology.

Application forms can be downloaded from the university website (www.ucd.ac.ma) or the public employment electronic portal (www.emploi-public.ma) starting February 25, 2026. Files must be submitted in five copies accompanied by an electronic version to the human resources service at the university presidency between March 11 and March 17, 2026.

Selection Process Stages

After file review by a specialized committee appointed by the university presidency, lists of candidates accepted for selective interviews will be announced. Interview dates and locations will be specified on the university website and public employment electronic portal, in accordance with the provisions of Decree No. 2-11-681 regarding appointment procedures for department heads.
