Marsa Maroc, the national leader in port terminal management, is seeking a qualified Launch Master (Patron de Vedette) to join its Operations Department at the Port of Mohammedia. This position is part of the company's ongoing strategy to enhance its human capital and develop integrated port logistics and maritime services.
The successful candidate will undertake critical tasks to ensure smooth port operations. Primary responsibilities include active participation in port service duties while strictly adhering to navigation rules in the port and at sea, such as transporting pilots, crews, supplies, and experts. The role also involves maintaining maritime watch within the port and offshore, overseeing the proper mooring of vessels at quays and dolphins, and preparing detailed incident reports when necessary.
Applicants must hold a Coastal Fishing Master's License (Brevet de patron de pêche côtière) and demonstrate a minimum of 12 months of navigational experience. This experience should be as a master of port service launches, or as a master or first mate in deep-sea or coastal fishing. Candidates must be under 40 years of age at the application deadline.
