The Royal Horse Encouragement Society is a public establishment under the supervision of the Ministry of Agriculture, Maritime Fisheries, Rural Development, Water and Forests. Since its establishment more than 100 years ago, SOREC has become a major player in Morocco's equine sector, overseeing horse breeding, improving horse breeds, developing horse racing, and managing games at the national level. Internationally, it contributes to promoting and enhancing the achievements of Moroccan horses.

With approximately 600 employees, SOREC works to perpetuate, preserve, and sustain the equestrian tradition of the Kingdom. From breeding to training, from sports to crafts, the equine sector is an integral part of Moroccan identity and contributes to Morocco's global influence.

Duties and Responsibilities

The Infrastructure Project Manager will be responsible for managing and coordinating infrastructure projects to ensure their delivery within deadlines, while respecting the budget and meeting specific requirements. Key responsibilities include:

• Participating in program definition and needs analysis in collaboration with internal entities
• Preparing service provider consultation files
• Assessing project technical feasibility considering necessary resources and in collaboration with engineering offices
• Establishing cost estimates and preparing project budget forecasts
• Conducting in-depth studies and drafting project specifications
• Participating in material selection, processes, and implementation methods according to regulatory QHSE standards
• Establishing work execution schedules and supervising implementation plans
• Coordinating and monitoring project stakeholder actions
• Ensuring compliance with company regulations and QHSE standards
• Controlling and approving invoices and accounts of various stakeholders according to contracts and specifications
• Ensuring project budget monitoring and control
• Contributing to technical and financial monitoring of construction or renovation projects
• Regularly communicating on the progress of different project phases through reports
• Monitoring project-related payments

Required Profile and Qualifications

To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Hold a Bac+5 degree from a major engineering school in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Have 5 to 8 years of experience in Project Management, Engineering Offices, or Construction Companies
• Master computer tools and specialized software such as CAD, CAO, MS Project
• Have knowledge of building construction techniques
• Possess proven project management skills
• Be autonomous and proactive in proposing solutions
• Be geographically mobile (numerous trips throughout Morocco are expected)
