Call for Applications: Fisheries Delegate Position

The State Secretariat for Fisheries, under the Ministry of Agriculture, Maritime Fisheries, Rural Development, and Water and Forests, announces a vacancy for the position of Fisheries Delegate (position equivalent to Division Head) at the Fisheries Delegation of Sidi Ifni. This call is open to all permanent civil servants and contracted agents currently working within the State Secretariat for Fisheries, in accordance with Decree No. 2.11.681 of November 25, 2011.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Be a permanent civil servant or a contracted agent under the State Secretariat for Fisheries.
• Hold at least the grade of Inspector 2nd grade, State Engineer, or an equivalent grade. Those holding a diploma allowing access to the grade of Inspector 3rd grade or equivalent are also eligible.
• Have at least 4 years of actual service as a permanent civil servant, or 5 years for contracted agents, within the State Secretariat for Fisheries.
• Have previously served as a Head of Service.
• Current Division Heads as of the announcement date are also eligible to apply.

• A cover letter including the approval of the administrative unit and the opinion of the direct supervisor on the candidate's competencies.
• A curriculum vitae detailing qualifications, professional background, and functions performed.
• A work plan and methodology proposed for managing and developing the service, to be filled in the attached form.

Selection Process

After reviewing the files, a committee will publish a list of eligible candidates for a selection interview. The date and location of the interview will be announced later through:

• Notice boards at the central administration and external services.

Results Announcement

Following the interviews, the committee will prepare a final report ranking the selected candidates by merit. After approval by the Secretary of State, the report will be published on the public services portal, the State Secretariat website, at the central administration, and at the location of the interviews. Candidates may contest the final report through legal channels. The selected candidate will be appointed by decision of the Secretary of State, and this appointment is revocable.
