The Moroccan Capital Market Authority (AMMC) is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Controller, either Junior or Senior level, based at its headquarters in Rabat. Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will report to the Head of Service and undertake the following responsibilities:

• Conduct inspection missions with various market participants, including brokerage firms, management companies, and account custodians.
• Perform inspections of market entities such as the Casablanca Stock Exchange and Maroclear.
• Oversee preparation and planning phases for field inspection missions.
• Prepare comprehensive inspection reports and all other documents produced by the Department.
• Contribute to the development and management of departmental dashboards and performance indicators.

Required Qualifications

Candidates must hold a higher education diploma (Master's level) in finance, statistics, or audit, issued by a reputable engineering school, business school, or recognized university. Previous experience in audit or positions related to capital markets will be considered an additional advantage.

For the Senior Controller position, confirmed experience of at least three years in capital markets (equities, rates, asset management, derivatives) or in auditor/inspector roles within a leading financial institution is required.

• In-depth knowledge of the legal and regulatory framework governing the Moroccan capital market.
• Comprehensive understanding of financial market operations and various financial instruments.
• Mastery of risk analysis techniques, internal control, and financial analysis.

• Strong analytical and synthesis capabilities.
• Ability to work independently and effectively within a team environment.
• Excellent communication skills and superior report writing abilities.
• Rigor, discipline, and strict adherence to internal rules and procedures.

Language Requirements

Perfect command of French and Arabic is required, while good knowledge of English is highly desirable and will represent a significant advantage in this field.
