As a public establishment under the supervision of the Ministry of Agriculture and Maritime Fisheries, SOREC plays a fundamental role in promoting and developing equestrian activities in Morocco. With over 100 years of existence and approximately 600 employees, the organization works to preserve Morocco's equestrian heritage while contributing to the Kingdom's international reputation in this field.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Equestrian Sites Manager, the technician will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring a safe and high-quality environment for horse training
  • Maintaining optimal condition of equestrian grounds, irrigation systems, and related equipment
  • Supervising and maintaining green spaces around tracks
  • Following and implementing watering and maintenance schedules for tracks
  • Daily monitoring of track conditions during horse training sessions
  • Contributing to detection and repair of electrical faults on tracks
  • Participating in identification and repair of irrigation system leaks
  • Regularly conducting penetrometer measurements to assess track quality
  • Performing preventive and corrective maintenance of grounds maintenance equipment

Required Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • A Bac+5 diploma or engineering degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electromechanical Maintenance
  • Proven experience of 5-10 years in site management and maintenance
  • Proficiency in AutoCad software
  • Advanced skills in mechanics, earthworks, hydraulics, and electricity
  • Ethical behavior and professional rigor
  • Excellent teamwork skills and strong interpersonal abilities
