Essential Position Information

Institut Pasteur Morocco stands as a leading scientific institution in medical research and serum/vaccine production, enjoying an international reputation since its establishment. This position requires practical experience of at least four years for permanent staff and five years for contractual staff, with previous experience as a Service Head. Candidates must be Moroccan nationals, classified at minimum as a second-grade administrator, state engineer, or equivalent grade.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

The Division Head for Infectious Disease Diagnosis will be responsible for a range of vital tasks including:

  • Supervising the activities of Mycobacteria, Viral Hepatitis, Virology, and Bacteriology-Parasitology services
  • Actively contributing to achieving the strategic objectives of the biology and medical department, particularly the development of specialized Medical Biology
  • Implementing and developing quality, hygiene, and biosafety approaches at the division level
  • Planning, executing, and monitoring action plans, and preparing division activity reports
  • Managing administrative activities to ensure efficient division operations

A selection committee will be appointed to evaluate candidates meeting the required conditions. The process will include an individual interview where each candidate will present a 20-minute presentation on their proposed action plan, followed by discussion with committee members.
