National Ports Agency is hiring a Director of Research, Innovation and Sustainability
The National Ports Agency (ANP) has launched a call for applications to fill the position of Director of Research, Innovation and Sustainability, as per decision No. 651/DCH/DG/2026. This leadership role is key to driving the agency's strategic goals in research, innovation, and sustainable development.
Key Responsibilities
The director will lead the development and implementation of research and innovation strategies, ensuring sustainability is embedded in port projects. Main duties include:
- Coordinating partnerships with universities and research centers.
- Promoting innovative solutions for port infrastructure.
- Monitoring environmental performance indicators.
Required Profile
For internal candidates (current ANP employees):
- Engineering degree or higher education diploma in management (at least Bac+4).
- Minimum 10 years of seniority at ANP.
- Currently holding a position of Department Head type A or B, or Division Head for at least 5 years.
- Average performance rating of at least 94 over the last three years.
For external candidates:
- Degree from a top engineering, business, or management school (Bac+5 or higher).
- Knowledge in research, innovation, and sustainable development.
- Good knowledge of port and maritime sectors is a plus.
- At least 15 years of experience in related fields, including 7 years in a managerial role (Division Head or higher in public sector, or Director in private sector).
- Maximum age of 44 years at the application deadline (except for candidates from public administrations and institutions).
