Career Opportunity: Third-Grade Civil Engineering Technician

The Ministry of Interior - Marrakech Province announces a competitive examination for the recruitment of three (03) third-grade technicians specializing in civil engineering. This position offers an exceptional opportunity to join the territorial administration of the Kingdom of Morocco, with successful candidates being appointed to leadership positions and rural districts in Marrakech.

Competition Details and Requirements

The examination will take place on Sunday, March 29, 2026 at the Faculty of Sciences and Techniques in Marrakech, with possible organization at another center to be determined later if necessary. This competition is open to Moroccan citizens aged between 18 and 40 years, holding a specialized technician diploma in civil engineering from accredited vocational training institutions, or an equivalent certificate according to current regulations.

Quota System and Recruitment

A quota of 25% of budgeted positions is reserved for persons with the status of resistance fighter, nation's dependent, former military personnel, or former combatant. An additional 7% quota is allocated to persons with disabilities holding a "disabled" card. This system reflects the state's commitment to social inclusion in public service.

Examination Stages

The competition includes two main phases:

  • Written test: Includes multiple-choice questions (MCQ) related to required tasks and functions, competencies of the Ministry of Interior, and required specializations.
  • Oral and/or practical test: Discussion with the examination committee on various topics, with possible practical testing in the required specialization.

Qualification for the oral test requires obtaining a minimum average of 12 out of 20 in the written examination.

Registration Procedure and Required Documents

Candidates must register through the employment portal (https://depotemploi-public.ma/) from February 16, 2026 to March 9, 2026 at 4:30 PM. The following documents must be attached:

  • Copy of required diploma
  • Copy of national identity card
  • Curriculum vitae

Important Additional Information

For holders of foreign diplomas or those issued by private institutions, an equivalence decision published in the Official Bulletin must be attached. Public administration employees must submit participation requests accompanied by parliamentary approval from their administration.

Candidates with resistance fighter, nation's dependent, former military, or former combatant status must submit their applications through the administrations responsible for their affairs, in addition to electronic registration. Candidates with disabilities must provide a certificate issued by the Ministry of Solidarity, Social Integration and Family.

Results Publication and Notifications

The list of candidates admitted to take the examination will be published on the public employment portal (www.emploi-public.ma), with this publication serving as official notification. Written test results and final results will also be published on the same portal.
